Step 1: What you need:
1.5 oz Gin de Mahón (Xoriguer distillery)
.75 oz lime juice
.75 oz orange fennel syrup
2 dashes Old Fashioned Bitters
Step 2: Add all ingredients
Step 3: Shake well
Step 4: Double strain into glass
Step 5: Garnish with orange peel and fresh mint
This cocktail is inspired by a beautiful village on the island of Menorca. The village of Mahón is famous for cheese and for those in the know, this gin as well. The gin is grape based, utilizes botanicals that grow natively in Menorca and made in wood-fired copper pot stills that are centuries old. This cocktail is meant to evoke the feeling of sitting on a secluded beach in the Mediterranean.
